- Firefighter trainee: $65,465
- Firefighter I – Firefighter V: $73,046 - $85,761
- Engineer I – Engineer III: $89,271 - $96,762
- Captain I – Captain III: $100,785 - $109,125
- Battalion Chief I – Battalion Chief III: $113,691 - $125,806

ADDITIONAL EDUCATION INCENTIVES:
- Intermediate Firefighter certification - $95.00
- Advanced Firefighter certification - $120.00

- Associate’s Degree in Fire Science - $100.00
- Bachelor’s Degree - $145.00
- AEMT - $110.00
- Paramedic - $185.00
- Intermediate Instructor - $20.00

EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:
- Possess all applicable certification and licenses required:
- High school diploma/GED
- TCFP basic certification
- EMT basic certification (AEMT preferred)
- Successfully complete the Civil Service exam
- Successfully complete the physical agility testing
- Complete application forms and provide necessary documentation
- Participate in interview board process
- Participate in interview with Fire Chief
- Successfully complete pre-employment physical and drug testing
- Accept conditional job offer
- Must not have reached the age of 36 prior to employment
- Ability to perform under pressure and in adverse conditions
